Madhya Pradesh AyurvigyanVishwavidyalaya (Medical Science University) is the University and governing body for all the Medicine, Dental, Paramedical, Ayurveda, Homeopathic, Unani, and Yoga colleges in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

The University has approximately 300 colleges with a yearly intake of approximately 40000 students across the State.(upgraded information).

Madhya Pradesh University exercises superintendence and control over the affiliated colleges in order to establish uniform standards academic and administration of teaching and learning of health sciences.  The University has been formulated under the act as notified by Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Honble Smt. Anandiben Patel is the new Governor of Madhya Pradesh and Chancellor of all universities of M.P. She is the former Chief Minister of Gujarat.
